Warning: Muslim political party gaining momentum in U.S.

Chad Groening   (OneNewsNow.com) Thursday, February 05, 2015
A conservative Christian activist says a new political party formed by the Muslim Brotherhood in the United States is moving forward with its ultimate agenda: the destruction of America from within. He credits President Obama with at least some of the group's success thus far.
What's your reaction to news that Muslims are working to establish a political party in the U.S.? (Poll Closed)

Matt Barber is a constitutional attorney and the founder of BarbWire.com. He says last year radical Muslims decided to flex their political muscles by organizing a new political party, which is now in full swing.

"The Muslim Brotherhood, while it's being shut down in Egypt, is gaining momentum in the United States – and that is in large part due to President Obama's support for this organization," he tells OneNewsNow. "A Muslim Brotherhood front group, the United Council of Muslim Organizations, has been working in Obama's stomping grounds in Chicago to develop a political party."

As far back as April 2014, a commentary at Investors.com warned about the groups behind the formation of the political party – among them the Washington, DC-based Council on American-Islamic Relations and the Muslim American Society, both of which have been linked to the Muslim Brotherhood in federal court documents.

That same commentary pointed out that the chairman of new party is "none other than Oussama Jammal, who once headed the notorious Bridgeview Mosque in Chicago."

According to Barber, the new party's goals are clear: "Here we have Islamists using our Constitution and the freedoms guaranteed by our United States Constitution in order to effectively undermine, and if possible destroy, the freedoms provided in our ... Constitution and supplant with that Sharia law."

Terrorism expert and former PLO member Walid Shoebat said last year that it's not uncommon for the Muslim Brotherhood to have a separate political party that does its bidding. He pointed out that Egypt's Freedom and Justice Party was the party of Mohammed Morsi, the former president of that country who is currently on trial in Cairo for espionage on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.
